This season's been one of the best, aside from a few bad apples.

There is another new episode tonight. It looks like another good one, so be sure to tune in.

Thanks to Andreas, The CW and Warner Brothers, here is an image from the episode.

Another New Smallville Tonight and Tom's subject of another poll!

Thu April 23rd 2009 @ 3:05PM - Cindy - Tom Welling - 0 Comments

I know I've been seriously slacking in updating the site. Actually, it's a shame. I should try harder to find something to post, but sometimes real life intrudes and Tom being so reclusive doesn't help.

Anyway, I just wanted to remind everyone that there is another new episode tonight, the first of the last four of the year. We do have Season 9 to look forward to, but this season has probably been one of the best. So show Tom (and Smallville) some love and be sure to tune in.

It looks like it'll be another good episode. And don't forget Tom has again directed an episode this year, "Injustice." It will be coming up in a couple of weeks on May 7th.

The poll that Tom is on regards the potential casting for the lead in a new film under development with Disney. It is a movie that I think Tom Welling would be perfect for.

The film in question is an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs's John Carter of Mars series. Tom is one of the potential actors listed in a poll over on a fansite for the film.

I had read those books when I was a teen and Tom nearly perfectly fits the physical description of John Carter, an immortal American Civil War veteran transported inexplicably to Mars. The film has at its helm the award winning director of "Finding Nemo" and "Wall-E," Andrew Staunton, and will be a co-production between Pixar and Disney. It's currently thought to be a mix of live-action and CGI.

Michael Chabon, the talented Pulitzer Prize winning novelist who wrote Wonder Boys and contributed to the film story for Spider-Man 2 has been set to pen the script. The film is currently aiming for a 2012 release.

If this film gets made, Tom would be perfect for the part. Go on over and vote in the poll if you agree.

Look at the site HERE and cast your vote for Tom HERE.

Cross your fingers for Tom to be considered for the part. The talent already onboard is stellar so it'd be a good film for him since it would be completely different than SMALLVILLE.
